Maggie Bish to Address Missing and Exploited Children Training in Springfield

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, the Massachusetts State Police, the State 911 Department and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) will host a one-day training session at Western New England College in Springfield. This training is offered to personnel from approximately 245 of the Massachusetts law enforcement agencies who have the capability to handle 911 calls pertaining to missing and sexually exploited children.

Maggie Bish, mother of Molly Bish who was abducted in 2000 and whose remains were recovered in 2003, will address the approximately 100 training participants. The purpose of this training session is to train 911 call-takers who may take calls pertaining to missing and sexually exploited children to a new national standard.
