State Police Arrest Five for Armed Robbery

Massachusetts State Police arrest three adult women and two adult males for an armed robbery with a knife which occurred in the Town of Barnstable.


At 1:45 a.m. on April 13, 2009 Trooper Brent Pereira observed 1999 Mercury Sable on Route 25 West in the Town of Plymouth. Trooper Pereira reports this vehicle matches the description of an armed robbery that occurred earlier this day in the Town of Barnstable. With the assistance of Troopers from the Bourne Barracks a felony motor vehicle stop was conducted.

As a result of the stop, three adult woman and two adult males were placed under arrest for the earlier armed robbery in Barnstable. All parties where then transported to the State Police Barracks in Bourne where they were turned over to the custody of the Barnstable Police Department.
