Traffic Advisory

The off-ramp from Route 495 North to Route 95 South is being closed due to a tractor-trailer crash. The ramp is expected to be closed for up to two hours while the investigation and recovery efforts are completed.

The tractor-trailer was not carrying any hazardous materials and the operator was entrapped for a short time. He is currently being attended to by responding EMS personnel and appears to have only minor injuries.

The identity of the operator is being withheld pending proper family notification.

The crash remains under investigation by Troop H of the Massachusetts State Police with the assistance of the State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the State Police Commercial Motor-vehicle Enforcement Section.
