Traffic Advisory

Troopers from the State Police Barracks in Milton have responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 93 north near exit 6 in Braintree. A dump-truck rolled over and spilled a load of mulch on the highway.

The operator suffered serious injuries and has been transported to Boston Medical Center by responding EMS personnel.

At least 3 travel lanes are currently closed due to the spill and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highway Division has sent resources to the scene in order to assist Troopers in clearing it as quickly as possible.

The entire highway was shut down for a brief time while crews worked to clear the debris.
Troopers on the scene are attempting to open the breakdown lane to facilitate traffic movement thru the scene.
