State Police Vehicle Stop Results in Drug Arrest

Today at 12:45 p.m., Trooper Dana Oliver stopped a 2009 Nissan Versus on Route 290 East in Auburn, for an unsafe lane change.

During the motor vehicle stop, Trooper Oliver discovered a plastic bag believed to contain approximately 100 grams of cocaine. As a result of his investigation, Trooper Oliver identified a passenger as 27-year-old Juan ARROYO from Waterbury, Connecticut. ARROYO was placed under arrest at the scene and charged with trafficking in cocaine. ARROYO is being held on $25,000 bail and is due to be arraigned in Worcester District Court on Tuesday.
