State Police Seeking Public's Help in Locating Dangerous Sex Offender
On Friday, March 11, ADDEO cut off the GPS bracelet and threw it in the back of a pickup truck parked in a Home Depot parking lot in Tewksbury. State Police believe ADDEO threw the bracelet in the truck as part of his plan to conceal his location and movements because he knew the truck would be mobile soon.
The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section and the Parole Department have been intensively seeking ADDEO and have reason to believe ADDEO may be out of state. Troopers have attempted to gather information from ADDEO's family, but they have not been cooperative.
Troopers are actively pursuing leads tonight.
ADDEO was previously convicted in Worcester Superior Court of:
- Aggravated rape (with a knife), kidnapping, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon;
- Unnatural rape of a child under 16 (four counts with four victims) and multiple counts of indecent assault and battery;
- Aggravated rape, rape of a child and related charges; and
The above offenses represent six different victims raped during three separate incidents. ADDEO was charged with one rape and, while out on bail awaiting trial, he raped four young girls and then raped a 19-year-old woman.
ADDEO is actively being pursued by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Unit. Anyone with information regarding ADDEO's whereabouts is urged to call the State Police at 1-800-KAPTURE.
The Massachusetts State Police added ADDEO to its list of Most Wanted Persons today. No further information is being released tonight.
