Mar 21: State Police Arrest Man and Woman after Fleeing from Stolen Motor Vehicle

Subject Fled from Car Stop

Yesterday at 9:05 p.m., Trooper Zachary Bolcome, who is assigned to the Danvers Barracks, arrested an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman after fleeing from a stolen motor vehicle in Peabody.

An alert broadcast by the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Newbury for a stolen motor vehicle was relayed to State Police patrols. A Good Samaritan observed the stolen 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser pull into Gaeta’s Service Station on Route 1 in Peabody.  The Good Samaritan phoned state police stating that the occupants of the PT Cruiser were fleeing on foot in the direction of Spinelli’s Restaurant.  Trooper Bolcome and Trooper Silva established a perimeter in the immediate area of the service station and the restaurant.  After a brief search of the area Trooper Bolcome located the suspects in a dumpster behind Spinelli’s Restaurant and placed them both under arrest.

Trooper Bolcome identified the male suspect as, COREY BILODEAU, 18, of Amesbury and the female suspect as a juvenile from Haverhill. Both BILODEAU and his female companion were transported to the Danvers Barracks where they were booked, charged and held pending bail.

COREY BILODEAU as of this time is charged with:                 
1.      Receiving a stolen motor vehicle 266-28F;
2.      Resisting arrest 268-32B.

Juvenile Female as of this time is charged with:

1.      Receiving a stolen motor vehicle 266-28F;
2.      Resisting arrest 268-32B.
