Oct 30: MSP Fugitive Unit Arrests Another Most Wanted Sex Offender
Third High Risk Offender Arrested Since Friday
The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) has arrested another Most Wanted High Risk Sex Offender, the second in as many days and the third since Friday. STEPHEN H. FROSTHOLM JR., D.O.B. 12/9/65, was apprehended in a parking lot in Concord, N.H. FROSTHOLM, who was convicted in 2001 for multiple sexual assault of two boys while he was working as a bus driver in Barnstable, was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender as required by law.
The VFAS South Team developed information in recent days that FROSTHOLM was likely in Concord, N.H. Troopers went to Concord this morning and, working with local police and members of the United States Marshals Service, set up surveillance on two areas of interest. Police observed FROSTHOLM walking in a parking lot adjacent to 2 South Commercial St. and arrested him without incident.
Yesterday, VFAS troopers arrested UMAR SHABAZZ in a bar on Tremont Street in Boston. On Friday, VFAS arrested MICHAEL CUNNINGHAM in Plymouth.
