The State 911 Department (Department) is hosting Training/EMD/911Forums at various locations throughout the Commonwealth to discuss and answer questions on its Training/EMD programs and other 911 initiatives.
These Forums are open to Chiefs/Managers from Police, Fire and EMS services, as well as to other personnel from these services who are involved in the preparation of the Department’s Grant applications and reimbursement forms for their respective communities.
The Department’s Management personnel will be on hand to answer questions on topics including but not limited to the Department’s regulations at 560 CMR 5.0 (which establishes certification requirements for enhanced 911 telecommunicators, governs emergency medical dispatch and establishes 911 call handling procedures), the Department’s Grant Guidelines, and the Department’s Grant application and reimbursement processes.
Should a PSAP require assistance with a Grant application and/or reimbursement form, members of the Department’s Fiscal Division will be available after the Forum to meet with you individually and offer assistance. If you require assistance, please check off the box on the
application form 
when registering for the Training/EMD/911 Forum.
