Both the Commercial and Residential energy provisions have easy-to-use software that can help with demonstrating design compliance with the Building Code. Please note that the code user also needs to be aware of specific MA amendments to the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) 2009 as they pertain to air barrier, and other requirements.

COM check Software can be used to help show compliance to Chapter 5 (Commercial Energy Efficiency) of the IECC 2009. This software can be downloaded or used on line and is found at http://energycodes.gov/comcheck.

RES check Software can be used to help show compliance to Chapter 4 (Residential Energy Efficiency) of the IECC 2009. This software can be downloaded or used on line and is found at http://energycodes.gov/rescheck.
