Assists in controlling a nuclear reactor which produces steam for generation of electrical power and in operation of auxiliary equipment.

REQUIREMENT:
- U. S. Citizen or intent to become one
- 18 years of age minimum
- Good moral Character
Professional Must have been employed in a steam power plant as a fireman, water tender, control room assistant, or as a designated assistant to the engineer in charge for not less than one year. Must provide written endorsement of training/experience by a person holding a steam power or nuclear power plant engineer's license.
Examination:
Must pass a written exam and an oral exam, offered in September, March and June.
