The Executive Office of Public Safety along with the Massachusetts State Police and local police cooperate closely with school officials to ensure the safety and security of children while in school. Police educational programs such as D.A.R.E and the State Police Community Services Section work within the schools to support the Department of Education's Safe School Program.

The Department of Education's Anti-Bullying Program includes, but is not limited to, Anti-Bullying Videos, Web links for additional information, and on-going communication with administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
