Announcement: The Good to Drive? program has been extended! Please continue to support participating restaurants and check back as the program expands to new communities.

Welcome to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security's Designated Driver Program "Good to Drive?"

Our most recent data shows that every year alcohol-related motor vehicle crashes in Massachusetts kill nearly 200 people and seriously injure thousands more. These are deaths and injuries that we can help prevent by acknowledging, publicizing, and enforcing one simple fact: drinking and driving is never safe -- for anyone.

Tougher enforcement, laws, and penalties have helped remove drunk drivers from our roads, but more can be done. In addition to our other programs, this year we are focusing on the importance of utilizing designated drivers. Find out more about using designated drivers by clicking the link, "How the Program Works" below.
