The 2009 U.S. Department of Justice Bulletproof Vest Partnership program (BVP) is now open for application. The application process requires that the following information be provided: total number of full and part-time officers, the agency's replacement cycle, and the total amount of previously awarded BVP funds. Please follow the links below to complete and submit the applications.
- For Local Law Enforcement: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bvpbasi. The deadline for applications is June 23, 2009.
- For State Law Enforcement Agencies: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bvpbasi. Submit applications by June 15, 2009 to enable EOPSS to finalize the Commonwealth's application by June 23, 2009.
