    The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security intends to award $75,000.00 in FFY 2014 Homeland Security Grant Program funding (specifically the State Homeland Security Program portion of HSGP) to the City of Springfield in order to continue its Metropolitan Medical Response System Program. The funding will be available starting in November 2014. These funds expire on August 31, 2016. This funding proposal is in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ approved FFY 2014 HSGP application made to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency.  The intention of this action is to sustain the Commonwealth’s multi-year investments in the city’s MMRS Program.
