The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security intends to award $40,169.60 in Federal FY 2009 Port Security Grant Program funding to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency for VLan technology upgrades and computer hardware and software upgrades. These funds expire on May 31, 2013. Based on the need expressed by MEMA and whereas use of these funds will soon expire, EOPSS has determined this award is in the best interest of MEMA, EOPSS, and the Commonwealth. The duration of this grant is set to expire on April 18, 2013.
