On March 18, 2014 the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for the FY2014 Non-Profit Security Grant Program (NSGP).
As the State Administrative Agency (SAA), the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) is the only entity in Massachusetts that may submit FFY 2014 NSGP applications (also referred to as Investment Justifications) directly to DHS from eligible non-profit applicants. All applications from eligible non-profits in Massachusetts must be submitted electronically to Jenny.Barron@state.ma.us at EOPSS no later than 11:59pm on Friday, May 9, 2014.
Eligible Applicants: Non-profit organizations (as described under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) that are at high-risk of terrorist attack and are located within the Metro-Boston UASI Region (Cities of Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Quincy, Revere, and Somerville; Towns of Brookline and Winthrop).
