EOPSS/HSD is offering a FREE TRAINING class for local law enforcement agencies in Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) on November 30, December 1-2, 2016 at the Plymouth MPTC Academy in Plymouth, MA. Details below.

DDACTS is a law enforcement operational model that integrates location-based crime and traffic crash data to determine the most effective methods for deploying law enforcement and other resources. Using geo-mapping to identify 'hot spots" - areas of high incidence of crimes and crashes - DDACTS uses targeted traffic enforcement strategies to help both fight crime as well as reduce crashes and traffic violations. This FREE TRAINING class is being coordinated by EOPSS/HSD and funded through the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA).
