Announcement of the Availability of Funds from the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee

The Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee (JJAC) is accepting applications on a rolling basis to fund juvenile justice-related projects with Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act Formula Grant funds. The costs of the proposed projects should range from approximately $1000 to $10,000. The projects should be simple and relatively limited in scope. Examples include: support for the production and distribution of educational or resource materials, conference or training support, short-term research projects, etc. The following criteria will be used with regard to funding decisions: relevance of the project to JJAC priorities, capacity of the applicant to successfully complete the project, demonstrated need for the project/funds, quality of the proposal in relation to other proposals, and the availability of funds. (For more information on the JJAC and JJAC priorities please see the JJAC Annual Report and Three Year Plan at http://www.mass.gov/eopss/law-enforce-and-cj/justice-prev/jjac/jjac-overview.html).
