Student Officers of the first State Police Municipal Academy successfully completed their sixteenth week of training at the State Police Academy in New Braintree. Week Sixteen included courses in Report Writing, Search Warrants, Community Policing, Motor Vehicle Law, Active Shooter, Defensive Tactics, and Command and Leadership.

Friday of this week Comprehensive Exam #4 covering approximately three weeks of classroom and practical instruction was administered with all members of the class achieving a passing grade. Final Exams for the class are approximately four weeks away.
As with all facets of SPMA #1 training the instructors for this week of training were made up of both Municipal Officers, and Massachusetts State Police Officers.
