State Police Municipal Academy Student Officers have completed their fifth week of training. Week five training included Domestic Violence, Tactical Communications, Motor Vehicle Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Patrol Procedures, and Defensive Tactics. The training continues to be split among state and municipal police officers. This week the Northwestern District Attorney's Office supplied staff to provide quality training in Domestic Violence.

The training is intensifying in preparation for hands on training during week seven. Week seven will begin a three week schedule that will include Firearms, Emergency Vehicle Operation, Water Safety and First Aid/CPR.
