Student Officers have been required to make "knowledge cards." These cards require the student officer to research their town in which they will be working. The knowledge cards include information about the form of town government, population, department information, and interesting facts about the town, etc. While it is important for each student officer to have the necessary police training, we believe it is also important that each student officer have a "vested interest" in the town and department they will be working for.
