SPMA #1 has concluded its seventh week of training. The class received lectures and practical skill application in several topics. This week's training included Defensive Tactics, Motor Vehicle Stops, Critical Incident Management, Ethics, Command and Leadership, and Criminal Procedure. The training has intensified in preparation for practical applications that will take place in week eight. Additionally, the class received training for emergency vehicle operations as well as "the winning mindset" for firearms training.

SPMA #1 is eagerly waiting week eight. The class will be divided into three work groups; the smaller work groups will allow for efficient training in First-Aid/CPR, Emergency Vehicle Operations, and Firearms. The hard work of the combined staff and student officers is showing; the students are progressing well.
