Week #9 of SPMA #1 had the class continuing their training in Physical Fitness, Defensive Tactics, Criminal Procedure, and Public Speaking. The class also had blocks of instruction in Animal Control from Ofc. Gollub of the MSPCA, Computer Crimes from Ofc. James Lyman of the Auburn Police Department and Trooper John Conron from the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office, Sexual Assault Investigation from Lt. Susan Cronin (MSP retired), and Narcotics Investigations from Sgt. Michael Sampson from the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.

During week #10 the class will again be divided up into three work groups. One group will be at Devens for Emergency Vehicle Operations training, one group will be at Firearms training, and the third will have First Responder CPR and water safety.
