Student Officers of the second State Police Municipal Academy successfully completed their eleventh week of training at the State Police Academy in New Braintree. Week eleven was the second iteration of the "Round Robin" portion of their training, where the is divided into three study groups. One group was at the Academy's Firearms Range, a second group was at the EVOC Track in Ayer, while the third group was at CPR/First Responder and Water Safety Classes. The third and last iteration of the "Round Robin" begins in week thirteen, starting October 12th.
As with all facets of SPMA # 2 training, the instructors for this week were made up of both Municipal Officers and Massachusetts State Police Officers.
