2009 Municipal Police Training Class Week 3

Fifty-one Student Officers of State Police Municipal Academy #2 successfully completed their third week of training at the State Police Academy in New Braintree. Their training for week three included instruction in criminal law, report writing, public speaking, defensive tactics, collision investigation and leadership.

Instruction was provided by academy staff instructors, as well as instructors from the West Springfield, Pittsfield, Holden, and Franklin Police Departments. Abington Police Chief Majenski participated in physical training exercises on Thursday and Friday morning. Brookline Police Lt. Harrington attended the academy on Thursday to observe and meet with three student officers from him department.
