SPMA #2 has successfully completed their thirteenth week of training at the State Police Academy in New Braintree. Week thirteen was the final iteration of the "Round Robin" portion of their training, where the is divided into three study groups. One group was at the Academy's Firearms Range, a second group was at the EVOC Track in Ayer, while the third group was at CPR/First Responder and Water Safety Classes. Dan Zivkovich, MPTC Executive Director, took time out of his busy schedule to observe training at EVOC on Tuesday and Water Safety Classes on Friday.
As with all facets of SPMA # 2 training, the instructors for this week were made up of both Municipal Officers and Massachusetts State Police Officers. The first iteration of Scenario Training begins this coming Wednesday during week fourteen.
