SPMA #2 has successfully completed sixteen weeks of training. During week sixteen, Student Officers received classes in Field Sobriety, Physical Confrontation (boxing), Patrol Procedures and Criminal Procedure. Four days of training was devoted to Field Sobriety testing.

This week also included the third iteration of scenario training which enlisted the support of personnel from many outside agencies who acted as role players and FTO's. The scenarios consisted of various traffic stops as well as calls for service. The following police departments assisted MSP personnel with scenario training; Needham, Templeton, UMass Amherst, UMass Memorial Hospital, Brookline, Methuen, Environmental Police, Dover, Deerfield, Tisbury, Marlborough, Northborough, Springfield Technical Community College, Westfield State College, Western New England College and the Military Police from Hanscom Airforce Base. A special thanks to the MSP Stop Team for assisting with building searches and the many troopers from troops B, C and H.
