As the title implies, the PDM grant program provides funds to States, territories, Indian Tribal governments and communities for hazard mitigation planning and the implementation of mitigation projects prior to a disaster event. Federal funding for this nationally competitive grant program is generally an annual allocation (subject to Congressional appropriation).
