Recovery officials announced a series of changes affecting Disaster Recovery Center outreach efforts in Massachusetts counties today.
  • All centers will be open six days a week, closed Sundays.
  • A Commonwealth/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Boston will open at noon Monday, April 26 to assist Suffolk County individuals, households and businesses with disaster-related damage related to the severe storms and flooding which began in mid-March. After the Monday noon opening, hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Two centers will be closing for good on Friday, April 23. The Thayer Library DRC in Worcester County will be closing at 7 p.m. and the Billerica Public Library in Middlesex County will be closing as of 5 p.m. this Friday.
