The FBI periodically puts on "State Program Bulletins" which focus on changes, enhancements, edits, and other modifications of the NIBRS specifications. These bulletins are not easily accessible by software vendors or others who might be interested in the development and modifications of the national program. With the cooperation of the FBI, we are making them available here. These documents were converted from a Word Perfect format; however they appear without any other modifications.
You should note that the changes, edits, and any other modification listed in the above reports are not necessarily supported or mandated by the Crime Reporting Unit of the Massachusetts State Police. Before implementing any changes, please contact the CRU.
