Upon successful completion of this program the student will be a certified sexual assault investigator as required by MGL Chapter 41, § 97B.

It is required that each participant completes the entire course and passes the exam in order to get certified as an investigator.

This program is co-taught by a law enforcement officer and a rape crisis advocate to model the multi-disciplinary approach.  A variety of instructors teach throughout the week on specialty topics; such as crime scene, cyber crime, persons with disabilities & sexual assault nurse examiners. 

Hours:  40-Hour Class / Five days 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM 

Attire:  Department Uniform or Professional Attire
