Visiting Hours | Dress Code


Inmates housed in D1 may not receive visits during their program schedule.

Minors or children under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by their parent and/or legal guardian. Parents are required to provide birth certificates for each child and legal guardians shall provide court documents as proof of custody.

Minors may obtain permission to enter MCI Shirley with another adult by providing a notarized statement of consent from their parent/guardian on a Minor Consent Form and receive prior approval from the Superintendent.


Shirley Minimum Visiting Hours
Saturdays: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM/6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Sundays: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM/6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Fridays: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Shirley Medium Visiting Hours
General Population: Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday
1:00 PM - 4:30 PM and/or 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
