Amorello's Oui Case Continued Without A Finding

Matthew Amorello, 52, admitted to sufficient facts today in Haverhill District Court to charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of property damage.

Judge Stephen S. Abany continued the case without a finding for one year, imposed a 45 day loss of license, and ordered Amorello to complete an alcohol education course.

Essex Assistant District Attorney John DePaulo had asked the court to find Amorello guilty, impose a 90-day loss of license, and order him to attend an alcohol education course.

Amorello was arrested in Haverhill early on the morning of Saturday, August 7, 2010, after his vehicle struck two cars on River Street.

Amorello was represented by Attorney William Hogan.
