D.A. Blodgett To Host Training To Address Cyberbullying

Essex District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett will host a Cyberbullying "Train the Trainer Workshop" on Thursday, February 25, from 10 a.m. - noon, in his fifth floor office at 10 Federal Street, Salem.

Dr. Elizabeth Englander, who is the Director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center at Bridgewater State College, will be the featured presenter. Attendees will include K-12 educators, law enforcement and human service professionals.

The workshop will prepare them to train their colleagues and communities about cyberbullying. Recent research and basic, non-technical facts about cyberbullying will be presented.

This is the second of two planned workshops. The prior one in December was filled to capacity, as is the upcoming training, which reflects the urgency of addressing this growing phenomenon.
