Essex County Domestic Violence Roundtables To Meet For Training On Teen Dating Violence, Sexting, Cyberbullying
Carrie Kimball Monahan of District Attorney Blodgett's office will conduct a training focusing on teen dating violence, cyberbullying, and sexting, which have become growing and dangerous concerns in recent years.
Attending the training will be the Lawrence, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, and Gloucester Domestic Violence Roundtables, members of the Saugus Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and the WITH (Wenham/Ipswich/Topsfield/Hamilton) Domestic Violence Roundtable. Also in attendance will be members of the various High Risk Assessment Teams from Newburyport, Gloucester, Peabody, Lynn and Salem.
"These multi-disciplinary roundtables and high risk assessment teams are on the front lines of confronting and preventing domestic violence," said District Attorney Blodgett. "They include police officers, court personnel, social service agencies, professionals from domestic violence programs, and other state and local agencies that serve victims of crime. It is imperative that we work together to fight this epidemic."
The media are welcome to attend.
