Grand Jury Indicts Lynn Man For Attempted Murder
Prosecutors allege that shortly after midnight on January 15, 2010, Hall severely beat and attempted to strangle his former girlfriend at her Swampscott residence. The victim suffered severe lacerations to her mouth and injuries to her throat.
Hall was arrested five days later in Lynn by Swampscott and Lynn police. He has been held without bail as a danger to the community since his arraignment in Lynn District Court.
The case will be prosecuted by Essex Assistant District Attorney Kate B. MacDougall. Hall, who will be arraigned in Salem Superior Court within the next two weeks, is represented by Attorney Randi Potash of Lynn.
