Peabody Man Held Without Bail in Double Murder

Michael Hebb, 45, of Peabody was arraigned today in Peabody District Court on two counts of first degree murder.  Judge James Barretto entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and ordered him held without bail.

Essex Assistant District Attorney Kate MacDougall represented the Commonwealth.  The defendant is accused of murdering Mark Greenlaw, 37 and Jennifer O’Connor, 39 at 19 Farm Avenue in Peabody on Saturday, February 18, 2017.  The OCME has not made a final ruling on the cause and manner of their deaths.

The defendant was represented by Attorney Ray Buso and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.  A probable cause hearing is scheduled for March 28, 2017 in Peabody District Court.

A second suspect in the double murder is still at-large and is actively being pursued.
