Leaving an abusive relationship is difficult but doable. The benefits of a domestic violence hotline and support groups provide victims with the information and strength they need to be safe. Restraining orders can help a victim provide safety for herself and her family. Victim Witness Advocates from the District Attorney's Office and from domestic violence programs can help domestic violence victims in many ways.
