Malaysia Market Opportunities for Aerospace and
March 26–27, the U.S. Commercial Service office
in Boston will be hosting one of our
International Trade Specialists from Malaysia,
Mr. Liew works in the Commercial Section of
the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and is
responsible for assisting U.S. companies in the
Aerospace and Defense sectors interested in
exporting to Malaysia. He provides counseling to
U.S. companies on business opportunities, market
trends, and market entry/expansion strategies
for his geographical territory.
Mr. Liew started his work career in 1985
working in the private sector in turnaround
management and production planning before
joining the High Commission of Canada in Kuala
Lumpur in 1993 as their Commercial Officer and
later as the Economic and Political Analyst.
Mr. Liew joined the US Commercial Service in
2008. His current sector responsibilities
includes Architectural, Construction,
Automotive, Defense, Oil & Gas, Marine, Safety &
Security, Defense and Aerospace. He received his
tertiary education majoring in Economics from
Carleton University, Ottawa Ontario Canada.
