The State Transportation Building is located in downtown Boston between the theater district and the Park Plaza Hotel. The building can be reached by automobile, rapid transit, and commuter rail. Several MBTA stations are within a five-to-ten minute walk from the building, which is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Parking is available in the State Transportation Building garage and in other garages nearby.

From the South: Take Route I-93 North to Exit 20, following signs to South Station. At the end of the ramp, take a left onto Kneeland Street, following signs to Chinatown. Go straight on Kneeland Street (which becomes Stuart Street after a few blocks) until all traffic must turn right (approximately one-third of a mile.) The State Transportation Building will be on your right at this point. After a right turn, the entrance to the garage is on the right side. Other garages nearby: Motor Mart Garage, the Radisson Hotel garage and the Boston Common Garage.

From the North: Take Route I-93 South to the Leverett Connector to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive exit, immediately before the Lower Deck). Follow all the way into Boston (by the TD Garden), and get onto Storrow Drive West. Pass the Government Center exit on the left, and take the 2nd exit (Copley Square), which will also be on the left side. Get in the left lane, and at the lights, take a left onto Beacon Street. Take an immediate right onto Arlington Street. Follow Arlington past the Public Garden. Proceed on Arlington, crossing Boylston and St. James Streets. After passing the Boston Park Plaza Hotel on the left, take a left onto Stuart Street. The Motor Mart garage will be on the left and the Radisson garage will be on the right. The State Transportation Building is located at the intersection of Stuart and Charles Streets.

From the West: Take the Mass Pike East to the Copley Square exit (which will bring you to a set of lights at the intersection of Dartmouth and Stuart streets). Go straight on Stuart Street for several blocks. After crossing the intersection of Arlington Street, continue straight for another block. The Motor Mart garage will be on the left; Radisson garage will be on the right. The State Transportation Building is located at the intersection of Stuart and Charles Streets.

Public Transportation:

Green Line: Exit at Boylston Station. When you exit the station, you will be near the corner of Boylston Street and Tremont Street. Go right on Boylston Street and walk a half block to Boylston Place Pedestrian Alley on your left. The State Transportation Building is at the end of the alley.

Blue Line: Exit at Government Center Station. From there take the Green Line inbound to Boylston Station. When you exit the station, you will be near the corner of Boylston Street and Tremont Street. Go right on Boylston Street and walk a half block to Boylston Place Pedestrian Alley on your left. The State Transportation Building is at the end of the alley.

Red Line: Exit at Park Street Station. Change to the Green Line to and take to Boylston Station. When you exit the station, you will be near the corner of Boylston Street and Tremont Street. Go right on Boylston Street and walk a half block to Boylston Place Pedestrian Alley on your left. The State Transportation Building is at the end of the alley.

Parking: Proceed past the intersection of May and Chandler Street, down Chandler Street past the Ghosh Science and Technology Center (a large brick building on the left) and enter through the North Entrance on the left. There will be a large parking lot at this entrance where you can park. Please display the parking pass on the dash.
      Use the campus map link above to get to the Student Center. The Center is towards the left, after the stadium and pond. It is a brown building marked "Student Center". The meeting is in North/South Auditorium, behind the red wall (entrance to the right) that you will see as you go up the ramp from the Student Center entrance. There will also be a sign on the door directing you to the auditorium.

From Boston and Points North and East: Take Route 93 South to Route 24 South to Route 140 South. Take Exit 2B onto I-195 East. Take Exit 15S (downtown New Bedford) onto Route 18. From Providence and Points West: Take Route 195 East to Exit 15 onto Route 18. At the second light, turn right on to Union Street.  Go two additional sets of light and turn right onto Purchase Street. The Massachusetts Export Center is one block up on the right on Purchase Street.

Parking: Metered parking can be found along the streets. Additional parking can be found at two locations:

• A parking garage can be found adjacent to the Zeiterion Theatre at 684 Purchase Street. From Route 18 coming from Exit 15, go through two sets of traffic lights. Take the next exit (it comes up very quickly and isn't marked very well) -- School Street. At the third stop sign, at Purchase Street, take a right. At the next intersection (Purchase and Spring Streets) take a right. At the end of the street, take a right onto Acushnet Avenue. The parking garage entrance is on your right.
   
• A parking garage can also be found at Elm Street. From Route 18 coming from Exit 15, take a right at the first light; the garage will be on the right. From the Center, turn right onto William Street, then a left on 2nd street. The garage will be two blocks ahead.
   
• There is a small outdoor lot at Second and Acushnet Avenue. This lot offers free parking on the weekend. From Route 18 coming from Exit 15, take a right at the first light. Take a left at Acushnet Avenue. The parking lot will be on your left 3 blocks up. From the Center, turn right on William Street, then a right on Acushnet Avenue. The lot will be on your left.

From Bus Terminal: Turn right and walk three blocks down Pleasant Street (opposite the flow of traffic). Turn left down William Street and walk down to Purchase Street, and take a right. The Massachusetts Export Center is three doorways up on left.

From Mass Turnpike: Take Exit 4 to I-91 North.

From I-91 North or South: Take the Route 202 Holyoke Exit 16. At the bottom of the ramp take a left (if traveling from the south) or right (if traveling from north of the exit) onto Cherry Street. At the Traffic Light take a left onto Homestead Avenue. Go less than a mile and the HCC Campus Entrance is on your right. Go in the Main Entrance and then take a left. Continue to E parking lot.

From the North or South: Take Route I-93 into Boston, exiting at the Storrow Drive exit.  Follow Storrow Drive westbound and take the Copley Square exit. The exit deadends at a signal light. The cross street is Beacon. Take a right on Beacon Street. While on Beacon Street, you will cross Berkeley, Clarendon, and Dartmouth streets. The next street is Exeter. Take a left onto Exeter (this is a one-way street). While on Exeter, you will cross Marlborough Street, Commonwealth Avenue, and Newbury Street. The next cross street is Boylston. The Library is on the corner of Exeter and Boylston streets.                      

From the West: Take Route I-90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike) to Exit 22 toward Prudential Center/Copley Square. Keep left at the fork and merge onto Huntington Avenue. Go 0.2 miles and turn right onto Belvidere Street. Take the first right onto Dalton Street. Go 0.1 miles and turn right onto Boylston Street. The Boston Public Library will be on the right.
