The Governor's Council for Innovation was established by Executive Order 542 in March 2012. The Innovation Office works to improve the experience with state government for residents, businesses and municipalities. The Innovation Office also works to boost internal government efficiencies, leverage technology to improve services and save money, and improve performance for state employees and residents alike. As the Office continues to drive innovation, efficiency, and successful service delivery for state government, updates on innovative projects and creative ways to deliver services will be posted on this site and on our their blog, Mass Innovation. Visit the Innovation Office's website, Commonwealth Innovation for the latest in government innovation from Commonwealth agencies.
Innovation requires active eyes and ears of the service creator and user. After months of gathering input from various sources, the Government Innovation Office and the Governor have complied an innovation agenda for the upcoming budget year. With Commonwealth-wide support, government processes will be continually streamlined to enhance services and save taxpayer dollars.
