Governor Patrick will launch a partnership with Cyber Aces on an exciting statewide program to identify and develop young talent in cybersecurity.  Cyber Aces is a national 501 (c) 3 organization founded to help people discover and pursue cyber security education and careers.  High school and college students, veterans/members of the armed services, and jobseekers with the highest potential and aptitude for residency training and job placement from across the state will come together to register for the free online training and competition that begins in September.  Students will compete to win top honors and the best performers may earn scholarships for elite training.  The Massachusetts Cyber Aces State Championship has an online competition, with tutorials and quizzes, and a final event with head-to-head Net Wars competition to be held in Boston in May 2014.  An initiative like this will help military bases, the private sector, and even state government build the pipeline of talented cyber trained employees.  For more information about this program visit
