A Proclamation
His Excellency Governor Deval L. Patrick
Whereas Military members throughout the Commonwealth and our nation serve to protect the principles and ideals on which this country was founded and seek to preserve our freedom, liberty, and democracy; and
Whereas Children’s love and support of their parents is essential to the men and women of our Armed Forces; and
Whereas Children and families sacrifice their daily lifestyle and routines to support their service member and thus play a vital role in the function of the United States Military; and

Whereas The Commonwealth of Massachusetts recognizes military children and the important role they play in the Armed Forces community and we commit to providing quality services and support dedicated to their success,
Now, Therefore, I, Deval L. Patrick, Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, do hereby proclaim April 2012, to be,
