GOVERNOR PATRICK'S WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS OFFICE TO HOLD PUBLIC OFFICE HOURS

BOSTON- Tuesday, February 24, 2009 - Keeping to his commitment to be governor of the whole state, Governor Deval Patrick's Western Massachusetts Office will continue holding public office hours at locations throughout Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. Led by Elizabeth Cardona, director of the Governor's Western Massachusetts Office, these office hours and open forums offer citizens another tool to interact with their state government where they live, while gaining a deeper understanding of Governor Patrick's key initiatives and the role of state agencies.

Agency commissioners and other officials will continue hosting office hours and open forums once a week, through the month of April. Sherri Killins, Commissioner of the Department of Early Education and Care will host a forum at Westfield State College this Thursday, February 26, 2009.
