GOVERNOR PATRICK NOMINATES EXPERIENCED ATTORNEY TO THE INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT REVIEWING BOARD
BOSTON – April 10, 2013 – Governor Deval Patrick today announced the nomination of Carol Calliotte as an administrative law judge on the Industrial Accident Reviewing Board at the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA).
Carol Calliotte has served as Counsel to the Industrial Accident Reviewing Board since 1998. From 1989 to 1998, she was an Assistant General Counsel at the DIA. She also worked for three years as staff counsel to the National Association of Government Employees and for two years in private practice focusing on labor and employment matters. Calliotte is a graduate of Hendrix College (B.A., 1974), Boston University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (M.A., 1977) and Northeastern University School of Law (J.D., 1984). She resides in Arlington. If confirmed, Calliotte will fill the vacancy on the Industrial Accident Reviewing Board created by the retirement of the Honorable William McCarthy.
