OCTOBER PUBLIC MEETINGS

Environmental Management Commission

The EMC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1 at 2:30 p.m. at the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, 149 Waquoit Highway, Waquoit.  The EMC meets to discuss the oversight, monitoring, and evaluation of all activities that occur on the northern 15,000 acres of Camp Edwards.  For more information, contact Mark Begley at 508-968-5127 at the EMC.

MMR Cleanup Team (MMRCT)

A joint meeting of the MMRCT, formerly the Plume Cleanup Team and Impact Area Review Team, is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, at 6:00 p.m. at Building 1805, West Outer Road , Camp Edwards . The team meetings provide a forum for community input regarding issues related to the Installation Restoration Program, which is primarily focused on the environmental cleanup on the southern portion of the base, and the Impact Area Groundwater Study Program, which is responsible for the environmental cleanup of the northern 15,000 acres of Camp Edwards. Senior Management Board (SMB)
