M I S S I O N

The National Guard Military Museum & Archives' mission is to collect, preserve, and provide access to the material culture of the Massachusetts National Guard and Militia from its inception in 1636 to the present. Archival records and museum displays chronicle the growth of the colonial militia in the 17th century to the modern Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard.
