R E S E A R C H  S E R V I C E S   

The Archives staff are available to assist visitors who wish to conduct research surrounding the Massachusetts National Guard and the Massachusetts Militia.
Please contact us at least one day in advance so that we can give the proper time and attention to each researcher.

Policies and Procedures:

1.)    Researchers need to show a photo ID and sign in at our register upon each visit to the Archives.

2.)    Only notebooks, pencils, and laptop computers are allowed in the reading room for note taking.

3.)    Neither food nor drink are allowed in the reading room.

4.)    Archival materials are to be handled with extreme care. Materials must lie flat on the table. Nothing is to be placed on top of the materials.

5.)    All personal property brought into the reading room is subject to inspection upon leaving.

6.)    Photocopying is available at 25 cents per page. Digital reproductions are available at 5 dollars per photograph.

7.)    The Archives reserves the right to restrict photocopying of materials deemed to be too fragile.
