Housing and community development funding resources relative to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Federal Stimulus Bill of 2009). Massachusetts will be using these federal funds to clean up properties in troubled neighborhoods, help create new affordable housing, make our homes more energy-efficient, and support community development projects. Massachusetts state government is directly administering over $220 million in housing and community development funding; additionally, cities, towns, and other Massachusetts entities will be receiving over $280 million from the federal government to support housing and community development activities.
